I am an American expat who has lived in the Czech Republic for 9 years. I have worked as a teacher for preschool-adults during this time but have focused on primary schooleducation during that time. I enjoy making engaging lessons that allow students to become confident in their English skills. Outside of education, I am a mother to a year old boy and have many pets. I enjoy reading, baking, and designing activity books for children.

Lessons are designed around the needs of the student. This begins with identifying the focus and goal of the lessons. Whether it be speaking, writing, reading, or comprehension, we will design this together. Regardless, I find it beneficial to begin lessons with more light material and then get into more challenging material in a scaffolding manner which means that the lesson with become more challenging as we go. At the end of lessons I like to reflect on what we have learned and apply the information we have learned to the outside world.
