A little bit about me...During my teaching career, I have successfully prepared students for states-exams, music schools concerts and conservatoire auditions. I have experienced teaching privately and in schools around Europe and the UK. I teach in English and French. As a teacher, my main focus will be to spark a musical interest in each of my students and allow them to follow their curiosity and passion. My teaching style is tailored to the student's ability and goals, and I will help my pupils to become independent as quickly as possible.
As a performer, I have played with symphony orchestras around the world and worked in recording studios such as Abbey Road Studios and the BBC Studios. I have also played in numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts.

Whether your child or yourself just started playing the violin, or if you are a confident amateur, student or semi-pro, sometimes we all need a motivation boost! Playing an instrument can feel overwhelming when you do not have the right guidance, but it is above all a creative process which requires patience, care and discipline. I am here to help you achieve your best in a (hopefully) fun and rewarding way !
English or French might not be your or your child's main language, but give it a try! You could improve your language skills, by talking to a native speaker, while doing something creative! The progress will only be greater that way :-)

En assistant aux cours des enfants, ce qui m' a le plus impressionnée chez ce professeur c est combien elle est à l ecoute de l enfant et elle sait le mettre à l aise.
Les enfants ont du plaisir à travailler et ont fait de réels progrès cette fois après avoir changé plusieurs fois de
professeur. Tres bon professeur, en tant que parent, je la recommande .
Rubie est une pédagogue très habile, partageant son amour du violon. C’est une vraie représentante de l’école Franco-belge.
J’ai vu progresser des violonistes de tous niveaux avec elle.
